My Approach
My way of working is shaped by a calm and attentive presence.
I keep my distance when it’s needed, and I’m there when the moment calls for it – not to interfere, but to let genuine moments unfold.
The day keeps its own rhythm. The images never feel staged, but instead reflect the day exactly as it felt.
Photography & Film
I offer both photography and film.
Both are created in a documentary way and naturally complement one another, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the flow of the day. The camera never directs what happens – it follows the moment as it unfolds.

Analog Photography
In addition to digital photography, I also work with film.
Analog photography brings a different sense of time and a special depth to the images. It is not nostalgia, but a conscious choice for simplicity and mindfulness.

Analog images add another deeply personal layer to the digital reportage and naturally become part of the documentary flow of the day.

Multi-day wedding celebrations are a natural part of my work, especially for destination weddings. Travel expenses are always communicated transparently and fairly.

Frequently Asked Questions About My Approach
Do we have to pose for the photos?
No. I work exclusively in a documentary style—no staged shots, no “Look this way” or “Smile for the camera.” Most of the photos are taken throughout the day without you even noticing. Even during the couple’s photo shoot, it’s not about posing. Instead, I’ll give you little prompts and ideas so that genuine moments between the two of you can unfold naturally.
Do you offer photography and videography services all under one roof?
Yes. Upon request, I provide photography and a highlight video for weddings—all from a single source. This ensures that the photos and video share the same visual style—without a second team, without the need for additional coordination, and with just one point of contact.
What is analog wedding photography?
Analog wedding photography means: real 35mm film, not a digital simulation. At weddings, I shoot simultaneously with the Contax T2 and the Leica Minilux. The images are characterized by natural grain, soft colors, and a timeless quality—a visual effect that is difficult to replicate digitally.
Do you also photograph destination weddings?
Yes. Most of my weddings are destination weddings in Mediterranean countries.
When will we receive our photos?
You'll usually receive an initial preview with selected highlights within 48 hours. The complete, edited photo gallery will be delivered no later than six weeks after the wedding—as will the finished highlight video, if you've booked both.
Do we need a second shooter?
That depends on your plans and preferences. For larger weddings with more than 100 guests or an unusual schedule, a second shooter might be a good idea—for example, if you’d like to have plenty of photos of your guests.
To move around as unobtrusively as possible and capture your wedding from the heart of the action, I usually choose to work alone. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss together which approach works best for your wedding day.
How many pictures will we get?
A full-day photo shoot typically results in at least 500 edited photos. The exact number depends on the duration and schedule of the event. We’ll deliver a curated selection that fully tells the story of your wedding day.
