About me

Portrait of Marco Palmer, international wedding photographer from Mainz.

Accompanying weddings calmly – honestly, attentively, and unobtrusively.

I have been documenting weddings for over eight years, in Germany and worldwide. Often at destination weddings in Mediterranean countries such as Italy or Spain. Many of my couples come from the USA, England, Australia or the DACH region.

My approach is documentary-based. I observe rather than intervene, and leave room for genuine moments rather than staging them.

My way of working is shaped by a calm and present mindset. I step in only where it truly makes sense and consciously leave room for your day to unfold naturally.

This creates an atmosphere where you can focus on what truly matters, without pressure or staging. The story of your day grows out of the moment itself and is told from the inside out, not observed from the outside.

Many of our guests were surprised at how naturally Marco became part of the day, not as a stranger, but right in the middle of it.

This feeling of naturalness is particularly important to me on your wedding day. Many couples tell me later that they hardly noticed me, yet still felt accompanied throughout. That is exactly my goal: to be present without being the center of attention.

I work calmly, attentively, and with a keen sense for people and situations. This results in authentic wedding photos and emotional films that are honest, unposed, and close to how your day really felt.

In addition to photography, I also offer videography and analog wedding photography. Both integrate seamlessly into the flow of the day and are created from a shared understanding of your story.

I live with my wife in Mainz/Germany.

Communication is possible in German or English.
