An unforgettable marriage proposal in Bali

Already weeks before departure Jan contacted me, because he had decided to propose marriage to his Kathi after 6 years and could not imagine a better place for it than on her dream island Bali.

So the idea came up that I should kidnap the two under the pretense of a couple photo shoot in the great hotel complex of Plataran Canggu Bali Resort & Spa and that Jan then proposes during the shoot, while I check out a different spot for more pictures. No sooner said than done. 

Days before, my wife Sandra and I were already planning at full speed: decorations, scheduling meetings and a preliminary check at the hotel, where the newlyweds were to spend the following night. Everything had to be perfect. 

A YES for eternity

So I was honored to share this great moment with the two, even if I waited like a paparazzi in the bushes until Kathi finally said YES. Up to this point, I was at least as excited as Jan.
